Alarm.com is a technology platform that offers smart security solutions for homes and businesses. It lets you manage and monitor your security system, smart devices, and more through a single app, providing seamless control and peace of mind wherever you are. Many systems are compatible, including popular panels from Qolsys, DSC, 2GIG, Interlogix, and others that use an Alarm.com radio. Any security sensors that work with your panel will be supported as well.Alarm.com also supports a wide range of smart locks, thermostats, and other smart devices. Cameras with the Alarm.com logo will work, and most common smart devices are supported. Not sure? You must have an active plan to be eligible for special member pricing. If you don’t have a system ready to be activated, choose “I don’t have a system” during the account setup. Your plan will be paused until you receive and activate your system, but you’ll still receive the member discount when placing your order.

We support all Alarm.com compatible devices and features, but there are simply too many options to list on the website. If you don’t see what you need, just send us a message with what you’re looking for. We can customize a plan to match your specific setup, devices, and monitoring needs.

To make changes to your plan, sign in to your account and select Modify Plan. Please note that the plan builder starts with a blank configuration and does not load your current plan settings. Be sure to build and submit the complete plan you would like moving forward, including any features you wish to keep, as only the options selected in your new submission will be applied.

Some municipalities in Canada require homeowners and businesses to register monitored alarm systems and obtain an alarm permit, while others do not. Requirements vary depending on your city or region. In many areas, alarm permit programs are used to help reduce false alarms and may include registration fees, renewal requirements, and fines for repeated false alarms. In some municipalities, police response may also be limited or suspended if a valid permit is not in place or if excessive false alarms occur. We recommend checking with your local municipality or police service to determine whether an alarm permit is required for your property.
